WEST FARGO, N.D. – A pop-up food pantry will be held next week in West Fargo.
West Fargo Eats Director Chelsie Bormann said the event will be held next Thursday, July 16, in the parking lot of Lutheran Church of the Cross, located at 1402 16th Street East in West Fargo. The event will begin at 4 p.m., and is scheduled to end at 5:30 p.m. or while supplies last. The items will be available on a first come first serve basis.
According to West Fargo Eats, fruits, vegetables and other grocery items will be distributed. Also available will be diapers. They ask those coming to pick up items to limit those items to only two households per vehicle.
In June, the pantry served 204 households and 664 individuals. Of those 664 individuals, 303 were adults, while 240 were children and 121 were senior citizens. There were more than 10,000 pounds of food shared with the community.
