REGION – The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting its 30th annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25.
Locally, the event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Dilworth Police Department.
Since the inception of Take Back Day, locations across the local five-state Field Division, including the states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota, have secured more than 706 thousand pounds of unwanted medications, Dustin Gillespie, DEA Omaha Field Division Special Agent in Charge, said.
