Prochniak announces run for Cass County Commission

WEST FARGO, N.D. – A former Cass County Emergency Manager and North Dakota Highway Patrol Superintendent is running for the Cass County Commission.

Jim Prochniak made his announcement early Monday morning for District 4, which largely includes the City of West Fargo.

“I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Cass County Commission, not only representing District 4, but all Cass County citizens,” he said.

Prochniak says he will place an emphasis on public safety, strategic infrastructure and transportation needs, economic vitality for businesses, fiscally responsible government and support for Cass County senior citizens and veterans.

“With my experience as the leader of a state agency and an involved leader in Cass County government, I look forward to applying those skills to the county commission by making informed and credible decisions for the citizens of Cass County,” he said.
