UPDATE: SWAT officers with guns drawn are at a home on the 700 block of Second Avenue north.
Police have asked people to avoid the area.
An officer with a megaphone is asking a person to come out of the house with their hands up because they’re under arrest.
The home isn’t far from Horace Mann Elementary and the Sanford Broadway Clinic. Flag Family News has reached out to Fargo Public Schools and Sanford Health for comment and they didn’t immediately respond

The Pulse Point App shows the call came in as a structure fire at 10:46 AM.
FARGO, N.D. – Police are telling the public to avoid a certain area of downtown Fargo as an investigation unfolds during what authorities simply describe as an “ongoing incident.”
Police sent out a notice on social media to avoid an area near the 700 block of 2nd Street North.
The post said that “more information will be released as it becomes available.”
Our partners at Valley News Live report scanner traffic showed a structure fire was reported in that area. That call came in around 10:46 a.m. to 737 2nd St. N. but it’s unclear if that’s related.
