Fargo, N.D. – The Red River Valley SWAT Team is conducting a round of training exercises on Thursday.
From 12pm to 4pm, the team will be in the 400 block of 1st Avenue North.
And from 4pm until 9pm, members will be conducting exercises in the 1400 block of 8th Street North.
People are being told they might see team members in those areas carrying firearms and walking around buildings. No live rounds will be used.
The public also might hear loud noises and yelling as part of the training.
SWAT team vehicles with emergency lights activated might also be visible at the sites.
