WASHINGTON – North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak’s staff tells Flag Family News she plans to introduce legislation that bans members of Congress from getting paid during a government shutdown.
“First of all it’s all too easy to shutdown the government, so I’m looking for ways to make it more painful for members of Congress to shutdown the government. I have a number of reforms in mind to that end and will be pushing them forward in the next couple of days and weeks,” Fedorchak said in an interview with Valley News Live.
