CHRISTINE, ND – The Richland County Sheriff’s Office and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation are looking into reports of shots fired in Richland County.
A press release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to the Christine area on reports of gunfire that happened overnight. The report was received Monday.
It was reported to the sheriff’s office that a suspect vehicle drove past a residence in Christine and fired multiple shots at a single residence.
The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation was contacted to assist authorities in the investigation. Authorities say it appears that the incident was isolated and there appears to be no danger to the public.
