MOORHEAD, MINN. (Valley News Live) – Sen. Rob Kupec held a pre-session town hall in Moorhead on Saturday, hearing from constituents on issues ranging from clean energy and farming to immigration and state bonding projects.
The DFL senator from Moorhead hosted the public meeting from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as part of a pair of town halls ahead of the 2026 Legislative Session.
Ahead of the event, the senator outlined his priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
“For me, personally, one of the big focuses is sustainable aviation fuel. Moorhead is in line to get a plant, there’s some tax credits, and I’m really hopeful we can make a run at those tax credits,” Kupec said.
The senator will hold another town hall Feb. 7 in Detroit Lakes from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Attendees are required to RSVP ahead of time to receive event details and location.
