Shots fired call leads to discovery of shell casings, struck garage

FARGO – Fargo Police were called to south Fargo on Friday night after dispatch3ers received multiple reports of shots fired.

The calls came in at 8:46 p.m. in the area of 4800 38^th Street South.

Sergeant Jordan Korte said officers arrived and found multiple shell casings in the area. There is no evidence of any victims. He said there were no reported injuries.

Police say a nearby garage was struck.

There is no information to suggest there is a threat to the public, according to Korte.

The investigation is ongoing.
