Here’s a look at the specifics for each of the communities:

Fargo

The City of Fargo will begin its annual Cleanup Week schedule starting Monday, May 5, and continuing into the week of May 12.

Debris will be collected on residents’ scheduled recycling collection day from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Residents on the Week A schedule will have debris collected May 5-9, and Week B residents’ debris will be collected May 12-16.

Residents should place unwanted debris on the boulevard in front of their property before 7 a.m. on their scheduled recycling pickup day.

West Fargo

West Fargo’s cleanup week will begin Monday, May 5, through Thursday, May 8.

All items should be placed curbside after 4 p.m. the day before garbage collection. Household items should be bagged and tied. All containers must be disposable. Items too large to fit in standard bags will still be accepted curbside.

Renovation debris will be permitted curbside during Cleanup Week only.

Moorhead

During the weeks of May 5-9 and May 12-16 (Oakport neighborhood is May 20), furniture, household goods, and appliances will be collected at single-family residence curbs on scheduled garbage days beginning at 5 am at no additional cost.

Cleanup Day will be the resident’s garbage day, opposite the recycling week. Residents who are on A Week Recycling (red), the Cleanup Day will be on the garbage day the week of May 12-16. Those who are on B Week Recycling (blue), the Cleanup Day will be on the garbage day the week of May 5-9. The lone exception is Oakport, whose day will be May 20, same as recycling day.
