UPDATE – North Dakota GOP officials update Republican State Representative Jim Kasper of Fargo’s condition.
They say after initially believing he suffered a stroke, his medical team says Kasper only had a brain bleed and had surgery. He’s alert, responsive and able to answer questions.
BISMARCK, N.D. — Republican State Representative Jim Kasper of Fargo has been hospitalized.
North Dakota Republican Party Chairwoman Sandi Sanford says Kasper had a stroke during the night and a brain bleed that impacted his right side. His family traveling to Bismarck to be with him.
Kasper has served in the House since 2001.
