Teen seriously injured in Barnes County crash

(ROGERS, ND) — A 16-year-old girl is seriously injured in a crash in Barnes County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened approximately one mile east of Rogers on Thursday morning. It involved two vehicles.

A pickup was traveling southbound while a semi was westbound. The pickup driver failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection, where the pickup collided with the rear passenger tank of the semi.

The pickup driver suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. She will not be identified due to her age. The semi driver was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
