FARGO – A crowd estimated at 1,000 people gathered Tuesday night on the NDSU campus to remember conservative voice Charlie Kirk.
The candlelight vigil was put on by the NDSU chapter of Turning Point USA, the organization that Kirk founded. He died last week by assassination while speaking at a campus event in Utah.
The group prayed and sang songs in Kirk’s memory.
His funeral is Sunday in Arizona.
