Senator Judy Lee and Representatives Jim Jonas and Austen Schauer announced they’re seeking to continue representing District 13 in the state legislature in Bismarck.

Lee has served in the Senate since 1995.
Schauer chairs the House Government and Veterans Affairs Committee. He’s been in the House since 2019.
“I am honored to work for the people of West Fargo and especially to advocate for our veterans,” he said. “North Dakota ranks among the top states in veteran services and opportunities. Proven leadership got us here and more improvements are on the way”.
Jonas, a former schoolteacher and coach and current West Fargo Public School Board member, has been in the House since 2023.
“My passion is kids and education. It’s what I’ve done professionally, and it is what I will always champion,” he said. “Throughout my time in the House and in other leadership roles, I am committed to building strong relationships, listening carefully, and putting North Dakota first.”
