Richland County, N.D. – A tanker truck rolled over and injured the driver early Wednesday in southeast North Dakota.
In a press release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, the crash took place just before 5:30am just north of Lidgerwood.
Authorities say the truck was heading westbound on County Road 16 and was unable to navigate a curve heading into Highway 18.
When deputies arrived, the driver was found trapped inside.
The driver was removed and rushed to a hospital with ‘unknown injuries’ according to the release.
The truck was hauling tack coat used in road construction.
The sheriff’s office also said there was dense fog at the time of the crash.
