FARGO, N.D. – Fargo City Commissioner Michelle Turnberg shares her concerns about the new lease the city has for its Recovery and Resource Center.
“They will be spending a lot of money,” she said. “It’ll be near the police station. But where’s the money coming from?”
The Fargo City Commission on Monday approved a lease agreement in October that would move the current Downtown Engagement Center to a building at 2001 1st Avenue North, near Brewhalla and Cass Clay Creamery.
Turnberg also has concerns with the fact that a nearby location is one of the finalists for the city’s new convention center.
