Twins walk-off Red Sox after rain delay

After a 90-minute rain delay, the Minnesota Twins walked-off the Boston Red Sox 5-4 on Monday night.

Simeon Woods-Richardson gave up three runs over 4 ⅔ innings in a no-decision. Justin Topa threw 1 ⅓ scoreless innings out of the bullpen. Griffin Jax and Brock Stewart tossed a shutout inning apiece. Jhoan Duran gave up one run over an inning of work and ended up with the win.

DaShawn Keirsey Jr. hit a two-run homer while Christian Vazquez picked up an RBI. Brooks Lee hit the walk-off two RBI single.

The Twins and Red Sox will continue their series on Tuesday night beginning at 6:40 p.m. Minnesota’s starter is undecided while Lucas Giolito is scheduled to start for Boston.
