UPDATE – Thirteen hours after police were sent to a Jamestown home on a domestic violence call, a man comes out of the home he was barricaded in and is in custody.
The shelter in place order in the area of the Western Park Village mobile home park has been lifted.
Valley News Live reports 10 minutes before the man came out of the home, the two-year-old child who was with him was removed from the home and taken into an ambulance.
UPDATE – Jamestown Police are investigating a domestic violence incident as the shelter in place order at the Western Park Village mobile home park continues.
Authorities say the suspect made terroristic threats toward another person and barricaded himself inside a room with a two-year-old. Officers believes he has access to guns. The department and the James-Valley Special Operations Team have been negotiating with the suspect, but he is refusing to come out.
JAMESTOWN, N.D. – People in the Western Park Village mobile home park in Jamestown have been asked to shelter in place as police work an active incident.
The department tells Valley News Live a 911 call came in around 2:00 Tuesday morning, a person refuses to come out of a building and is believed to have access to guns.
Police say the area is shut down to traffic and ask you to avoid the area.
