WEST FARGO, ND – West Fargo city commissioners will discuss an ordinance relating to sleeping in buildings, vehicles and temporary structures.
The ordinance looks to prohibit the act of living or sleeping in those structures that are not designed for residential occupancy, according to an agenda item on the City Commission’s agenda for this week’s meeting. The changes would be made to city ordinances and provide a penalty for violation.
The penalty would be a class B misdemeanor and would subject the person violating the ordinance to the penalties as prescribed under city ordinance.
The commission meets Monday at 5:30 p.m. at West Fargo City Hall.
