WEST FARGO, N.D. – West Fargo is among five North Dakota towns and cities that received millions in state loans to shore up water infrastructure.
The $8.5 million Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan and $2.7 million Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan are intended to build up and renovate West Fargo’s public works facilities, which handle water, sewer and stormwater services.
The funds were administered through North Dakota’s Department of Environmental Quality and the Public Finance Authority.
State Revolving Funds, which are operated nationwide, are partially supported by the federal government through the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act.
