West Nile Virus cases rise in North Dakota

BISMARCK, ND – Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus continue to infect North Dakotans.

According to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services, the mosquito-borne virus has infected 42 people, with a majority of the cases reported in the age groups of 60+ (16) and 40-49 (10).

Cass County leads the state with 13 cases of West Nile Virus.
