WEST FARGO – Reports of a structure fire at a hotel early Friday morning sent authorities to the 800 block of East Beaton Drive.
The call came in before 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews discovered smoke coming from a single room. A further investigation revealed that no active fire was discovered.
During the investigation, officers observed drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view, which led to the arrest of 41-year-old Kierra Fogarty. She faces several charges, including felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute with a firearm, felony possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute with a firearm and felony possession of a stolen firearm.
She also had a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.
