Woman arrested in West Fargo for intent to deal meth, mushrooms

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – West Fargo Police arrested a woman on narcotic charges and child endangerment.

Authorities made a traffic stop for inoperable license plate lights and stopping past the stop line near midnight on August 28. The stop happening in the 800 block of 17th Ave East.

According to court documents, reasonable suspicion was found for a K9 vehicle sniff. The K9 did find a odor of illegal narcotics to warrant a search.

During the search, police found nearly 20 grams of meth, 7 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, and over a half-pound of marijuana. All items were seized along with paraphernalia.

The woman driving the vehicle, Amanda Wagemann, was placed under arrest. There were three other passengers in the vehicle during the time of the stop and arrest.

Wagemann’s phone was also taken for evidence and charged with intent to sell narcotics as well as child endangerment.
