RAMSEY COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A driver faces DUI charges after allegedly running into a van carrying a college basketball team and then crashing in Ramsey County, North Dakota.
According to a release from Highway Patrol, a 2004 Infiniti FX35 and a 2019 Chevy Express Van were driving west on Highway 2 near mile marker 284.
The Infiniti, being driven by a 38-year-old Devils Lake woman, struck the rear of the van, entered the median, rolled, and came to a rest in the median.
The van, which had 10 members of the Lake Region State College Basketball team in it at the time, came to a stop. None of them were injured.
The driver of the infinity was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
