(MOORHEAD, MINN) – Motorists along I-94 in Moorhead will notice work beginning today on I-94 west of Highway 336.
The City of Moorhead says the work will begin with shoulder closures and periodic lane closures in both directions. The work is being done under the supervision of the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews will be working on a project to install fiber communications, overhead message boards and cameras along the interstate, allowing for improved traffic management. The work will be done in stages.
Beginning today through August, shoulder closures will be in place in both directions. Beginning Monday, and lasting through Thursday, nightly lane closures will take place in both directions from 9 a.m. until 5 a.m. daily.
