WHO Approves AstraZeneca COVID Vaccine

(Switzerland) -- The World Health Organization is approving the AstraZeneca and Oxford University COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use.

The WHO Director-General made that announcement Monday after a review concluded its efficacy benefits outweigh its risks.

The move will let the U.N. to ship millions of doses to developing countries around the world.

However, the vaccine hasn't received approval in the U.S.  Dr. Anthony Fauci says could still be a few more weeks away.
