Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill Passes House, Heads to Senate

(Washington, DC)  --  The U.S. House has passed President Biden's one-point-nine-trillion-dollar pandemic relief package.  The economic stimulus bill passed early Saturday morning, mostly down party lines with a 219-to-212 vote.  No Republicans voted for the bill, and two Democrats voted against it.  The bill now goes to the Senate, where lawmakers are expected to remove a provision that would increase the federal minimum wage.  If the bill passes the Senate, many Americans could be getting direct payments of 14-hundred dollars.
