Biden Agrees To Limit COVID Stimulus Eligibility

(Washington, DC)  --  President Biden is approving limiting eligibility for a new round of stimulus checks in his COVID-19 relief bill.  The President agreed to change the income thresholds for the 14-hundred-dollar relief payments.  Right now, any individual earning under 75-thousand-dollars a year and couples making less than 150-thousand will get the full amount.  Under the compromise, checks would phase out quicker for those with higher incomes.  In the past, individuals phased out entirely at 100-thousand dollars and couples phased out after 200-thousand.  With the agreement, that will drop to 80-thousand for individuals and 160-thousand for couples.
