U.S. Records Coldest February Temps In 30 Years

(Washington, DC) -- The U.S. is recording its coldest February in more than 30 years.

That word from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Last month had the lowest temps since 1989. It ranked among the top ten-coldest Februaries ever in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

The weather was particularly brutal in Texas, where dozens of people died and half the state lost power.

This as temperatures this week in Fargo reached record highs, including mid 50s on Monday.
