CDC Relaxes COVID Guidance For Schools

(Atlanta, GA)  --  The C-D-C is relaxing some of its COVID restriction guidance for schools.  The federal agency says most students with facemasks can be three feet from others instead of six feet.  C-D-C Director Rochelle Walensky said the recommendations are based on evidence and facts.  The C-D-C says teachers and other adult staff members should still stay six feet apart while wearing masks.  She said middle and high school students in high COVID transmission areas should also remain six feet apart.
