White House Senior Advisor: Biden Wants Bipartisan Compromise On Infrastructure

(New Orleans, LA)  --  A White House senior advisor says President Biden wants to see a compromise agreement reached on infrastructure.  On CNN's State of the Union, advisor Cedric Richmond says the President cutting out 550-billion dollars in his latest proposal shows he's serious about good-faith negotiations.  Richmond says Biden is sticking by his proposal for more electric cars and human infrastructure investment because it's important to help America compete long-term.  He added that the President is standing firm on two pledges.  Anyone making less than 400-thousand dollars a year will not pay more in taxes and that inaction on the issue is not an option.
