Johnson & Johnson Boss Says Vaccine Shots Will Be Needed For Years

(New Brunswick, NJ) -- The head of Johnson and Johnson says Americans should expect to get an annual COVID-19 vaccine shot for several years.

Alex Gorsky said the threat of highly-contagious variants will make it take longer to reach herd immunity on a global scale.

He said most Americans can schedule the shot at the same time they get their annual flu shot.

This comes as researchers are seeing a decline in antibody response against the coronavirus after eight months.
