Biden Confirms U.S. Plans To Buy Half-A-Billion Vaccines For Global Distribution

(Cornwall, U.K.) -- President Biden is confirming U.S. plans to buy 500-million Pfizer vaccines to distribute to areas in need around the world.  

Speaking in the UK, Biden said the U.S. is making a commitment to bolstering global health. He insisted there are "no strings attached."  

Biden praised the significant gains against the coronavirus in the U.S, but said pockets of the pandemic around the globe threaten the entire world.  

He also noted the global economy cannot fully recover until the pandemic is defeated around the world.
