(New Orleans, LA) -- Voodoo Festival in New Orleans is being canceled for the second year in a row.
In a surprise move, organizers of the music and arts festival announced it would be "taking a pause" this year as it was scheduled for late October.
Organizers are not giving a reason for the abrupt cancellation and the mayor of New Orleans says she was caught off guard by the announcement.
The 2020 edition of Voodoo was canceled due to the pandemic.
