(Indianapolis, IN) -- NCAA student-athletes are getting the chance to benefit from their name, image and likeness.
All three divisions adopted a uniform interim policy that suspends the NCAA's N-I-L rules starting Thursday. It applies to all incoming and current student athletes.
The temporary policy will be in place until federal legislation or new NCAA rules are adopted.
The organization says schools and conferences can choose to bring forward more policies of their own.
