Standup Comedian Jackie Mason Dies At 93

(New York, NY) -- Legendary comedian Jackie Mason is being remembered. He died in a New York hospital over the weekend.  

The 93-year-old was also a rabbi and an outspoken supporter of Israel. He began his career on stage in the 1950s, appearing on the "Ed Sullivan Show" several times, winning a Tony and Emmy Awards.  

One honor came from his 1991 voice-over on "The Simpsons," playing Krusty the Clown's father.
