U.S. Trade Deficit Hits Record In June

(Washington, DC) -- The nation's trade deficit widened more than expected, to a new record in June.  

The deficit grew to 75-point-seven billion dollars in June, up from 71-billion in May.  

Imports jumped two-point-one percent to an all-time high, while exports rose a modest six-tenths of a percent.
