Taliban Leader Vows Not to Take Revenge In Afghanistan

(Kabul) -- It's getting harder for people to evacuate Afghanistan.

The White House says the Taliban promised safe passage to the airport but has set up checkpoints all over, reportedly beating some Afghans.

Still, the militant group insists it has changed. Their leader spoke out, vowing not to take revenge on anyone who fought against them. He confirmed all interpreters and contractors have been pardoned, saying they'll also be more tolerant toward women.
