(New Brunswick, NJ) -- A new report claims Johnson and Johnson plans to ask the FDA to authorize the company's COVID vaccine booster shot.
The New York Times reported J&J wants the FDA to authorize a second dose to be given two months after its first shot.
The company announced last month a second dose two months after the first makes the J&J vaccine up to 94-percent effective.
