Texas Governor Bans All COVID Vaccine Mandates

(Austin, TX) -- Businesses in Texas are being told not to enforce COVID vaccine mandates.

Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order saying the shots should be voluntary. He's calling on state lawmakers to pass a similar ban into law.

This comes as federal rules are about to begin for companies with more than 100 workers. American and Southwest Airlines are based in the state and have already said they will comply with the new mandate.
