CDC: Almost 430 million doses of COVID vaccine administered in U.S.

(Atlanta, GA) -- The CDC says the U.S. has administered almost 430-million doses of the coronavirus vaccine as of Saturday.

The U.S. has also distributed over 530-million doses. The agency says almost 224-million people have had at least one dose, while almost 194-million people are fully vaccinated.

The CDC tally includes two-dose vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer as well as the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine.

As of this past week, just over 70% of eligible adults have gotten at least one dose of a vaccine in the country as well.
