(Washington, DC) -- New details are coming out about former President Donald Trump's fight against coronavirus.

In a new book by former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows he says Trump tested positive three days before his first debate against Joe Biden. The Guardian got a hold of the book which says Trump wasn't going to be stopped from appearing on stage. That was despite a requirement that the two candidates had to produce a negative test within 72 hours of the debate beginning.

Trump was tested again and it was negative. He then announced in early October of last year that he had tested positive and was hospitalized. The then-president was able to fully recover after spending multiple days in the hospital.
