(Washington, D.C.) -- Monday is National Write to Congress Day, a time to remind citizens to share their concerns with their representatives.
Very few people actually write to Congress, and January 3rd is set aside as an opportunity to hold lawmakers accountable to the people.
The day was first observed by Congress in 2006.
