(Washington, DC) -- President Biden is acknowledging Tesla's dominance as the biggest electric car maker in the U.S.

Biden mentioned Tesla in passing on Tuesday during a speech promoting U.S. companies that are expanding the nation's EV environment. White House aides said Biden made a point of not mentioning Tesla until Tuesday because of his belief that Tesla is anti-union.

Last month, CEO Elon Musk called Biden "a damp sock puppet in human form."
