(Boston, MA) -- Comedian Chris Rock is expected to talk about his slap at the Oscars Wednesday night.

He's kicking off the first of six shows of his stand up act in Boston. It will be his first public appearance since Will Smith slapped him on stage before winning best actor.

Rock didn't press charges but the Academy is reviewing what happened and may take action.

Ticket sales for his shows have soared since Sunday, with some being resold for 12-hundred bucks.
