(Washington, DC) -- Thursday is a day for the history books.
For the first time since the Supreme Court began in 1790, a Black woman is just hours making it to the bench. The Senate is expected to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination, with the backing of all 50 Democrats and three Republicans. This means the 51-year-old could be in place by June or July, replacing retiring justice Stephen Breyer.
It will also be the first time having four women judges.
