(Berlin) -- The man who runs German carmaker BMW expects the semiconductor chip shortage to keep troubling the auto industry into next year.
In an interview published Monday, CEO Oliver Zipse said the industry is "still in the height of the chip shortage."
Zipse said he expects to start seeing improvements next year at the latest, but that the industry will have to deal with what he called a fundamental shortage in 2023.
