Philadelphia to reinstate indoor mask mandate

(Philadelphia, PA) -- One of the nation's biggest cities is bringing back its mask mandate.

Philadelphia is dealing with a rise in COVID cases, enough to start indoor masks again as of Monday. Businesses that require proof of vaccination will be exempt.

Health officials say they hope this will get the state ahead of an expected wave and avoid the omicron peak in January.  he mayor tweeted everything remains open and to continue as normal.
