(Tampa, FL) -- A new law in Florida is aimed at supporting involved fatherhood.
Governor Ron DeSantis signed it Monday, saying "You're not a man by leaving your kids out to dry." He admits it won't solve everything but feels it will help.
The bill provides more than 70-million dollars for programs to help fathers with parenting, focusing on current and former foster children.
DeSantis says kids who grow up without a father are more likely to drop out of school.
