(Washington, DC) -- The nation is reacting to a reported abortion vote with a mix of anger and celebration.

A leaked document published by Politico shows the Supreme Court is planning to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision this summer. Democratic governors in at least 16 states are pledging to keep abortion legal including New Mexico, Michigan and North Carolina. California is also vowing to build a firewall to protect reproductive rights.

On the other hand, Republican governors praised the draft ruling for the most part. South Dakota for instance plans to call for a special session immediately to "save lives."
